Description
The Sahara is the CO2 and the PM2.5 (Particular Matter 2.5) sensor.
It measured carbon dioxide (in ppm, particles per million) and level of the pollution. The pollution’s level defined as mixture of airborne solid particles and liquid droplets, that are 2.5 micrometers in diameter or smaller. They can be inhaled and may cause serious health problems. Historically, PM values measured as “mass concentration” in mg/m3. The measured data is transmitted to app in real time and user can observe the CO2 level and pollution level and take necessary measures, such as: open widow; ventilate the space. The app will indicate an optimal, poor and dangerous level of pollution and CO2.
Below are air quality categories and PM2.5 level in mg/m3.
Common sources of PM2.5 particles include:
- smoke from fires
- smoke from wood heaters
- car and truck exhausts
- industry.
